About The Position

Assists the flower shop manager in the day to day operation of the flower shop.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus additional training as provided by the flower shop and Denver Roller Incorporated.
• Ability to read.
• Ability to respond to questions from the funeral home manager, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Some knowledge of all aspects of the flower business, including arranging and cleanliness.
• Adequate verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Floral Designers with floral arrangements.
• Assists in maintaining shop supplies inventory and equipment.
• Delivers or assists in flower deliveries.
• Assists in maintaining the positive appearance of the flower shop and in keeping it clean.
