About The Position

Studley's is Rochester's oldest flower shop. And there is a reason for that! Each job in our organization is important and as a team we work together to satisfy our customers. Part-time employees also receive our employee discount! We have an immediate opening for a part-time floral delivery driver. You will be interacting with public directly, bringing them joy and experiencing it yourself upon delivery! The primary duties of this role include but are not limited to the following: Successfully deliver floral orders in a timely fashion by utilizing all available technology such as a smart phone app, industry specific routing software and/or GPS and prioritizing deliveries based on location and time constraints. You maintain a clean working area in the vehicles, garage, and production areas. You maintain the consistent high quality of our merchandise by understanding proper flower fundamental handling techniques as well as basic plant care knowledge. You provide outstanding customer service by answering customer questions and resolving concerns. You perform other duties to support the floral department that may include unpacking shipments, washing buckets, general cleaning of design area, etc. Candidate Profile: You have knowledge of delivery area, which is a 20 mile radius of Rochester. You have the ability to work effectively as a team member as well as independently. You have the ability to use a variety of computer and technological devices such as tablets, smart phones and GPS units. You have strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation. You can prioritize and manage time effectively. You have strong problem-solving skills. You have a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.

Requirements

Knowledge of delivery area, which is a 20 mile radius of Rochester.
Ability to work effectively as a team member as well as independently.
Ability to use a variety of computer and technological devices such as tablets, smart phones and GPS units.
