Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.

Requirements

  • Must have knowledge and experience installing, repairing, and maintaining various flooring systems such as carpet, ceramic/porcelain tile, VCT, wood, laminate, and stone.
  • Must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take proactive and strategic approach to issues.
  • Must have the ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have the ability to work as a team or on your own.
  • Highly organized and detailed.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Must be able to work alone or as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
  • Must have 3 years commercial flooring experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of flooring such as carpet, ceramic / porcelain tile, VCT, wood, laminate, and stone.
  • Maintain an inventory of materials and tools needed to perform repairs and installations of the different flooring systems.
  • Must be able to recommend and perform various preventative maintenance steps needed on the various flooring surfaces as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
  • Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
