About The Position

Looking for candidates to fill our Interior Install roles. POSITION SUMMARY : Under close supervision, learn to install fabricate d aircraft interiors including cabinetry components, galleys, closets, divans, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, trim, panels, carpet and other similar accessories in for the completion of VIP aircraft. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : 1. Learn how to properly install f abricate d aircraft interiors. 2. Within 90 day s you must be able to i nterpret material specs and engineering drawings to ensure installed interiors meet the design spec, quality standards and customer expectations. 3. Learn to r equest material needs timely to ensure a continuous workflow. 4. Within 90 days you must be able to a dhere to all regulatory documentation regarding proper sign off, component installation, etc. as well as be able to e nsure paperwork is complied with and completed timely in accordance with the Comlux RSQM and other quality standards. 5. Follow all department safety guidelines and ensure proper usage of tools and equipment. 6. Basic knowledge of company installation procedures, process specs, IOPs, etc. 7. Other duties as assigned but not covered herein.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or GED. Relevant trade school attendance is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of the Interior Installation process as it specifically relates to the corporate aviation industry, in a completions environment.
• 1 years Interior Install experience, preferably in the corporate aviation completion environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and un derstand the English language.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Basic knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the Interior Installation process.
• Willingness to obtain knowledge of the RSQM and FAA requirements as it relates to Interior Installation.
• Working k nowledge of computers and related software utilized by Comlux .
• Willingness to obtain working knowledge of lean or other continuous improvement opportunity techniques.
• Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.
