About The Position

Now Hiring an experienced Floor Technician to join a growing healthcare facility in the Pittsburg, TX area. The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and safe floor surfaces throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Previous floor care or housekeeping experience required, especially in healthcare settings
• Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable and able to work assigned evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of flooring, including tile, vinyl, and carpet
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Operate floor care equipment (buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers) safely and effectively
• Follow proper infection control and safety procedures at all times
• Respond promptly to spills, hazards, and urgent cleaning needs
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to facility guidelines
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
