About The Position

STGi is seeking a Floor Technician to provide services at the Georgia War Veterans Home. If you have compassion and a passion to care for Veterans, this could be the job for you! JOB SUMMARY: Maintain or restore floors in highly trafficked areas.

Responsibilities

Clean, maintain, and/or restore floor surfaces.
Sanitize highly-trafficked spaces which may contain biohazardous waste.
Even the gloss, polish, or sealant coating on surfaces with a cloth or specialized buffing tool.
Utilize industrial or commercial grade cleaning products or equipment.
Works in all areas of the facility.
Moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel and visitors.
Communicates with maintenance personnel and other facility personnel.
Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holiday when necessary as well as in other positions as needed.
May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
