About The Position

Store Support is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining consistent execution across departments, and delivering exceptional Guest Service. This position is accountable for effectively opening and/or closing the store and acting as a liaison between store-level teams and Store Leadership. The Store Support ensures adherence to Plum Market policies, monitors operational compliance, and supports a culture of high performance, safety, and hospitality.

Requirements

  • Experience supervising or supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced retail or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of store operations, including inventory, merchandising, compliance, and Guest Service standards.
  • Ability to coach and support Team Members with positive, consistent feedback.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
  • Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

  • Support store-level execution by opening and/or closing the store, ensuring all departments are ready for business or properly secured.
  • Provide exceptional Guest Service and assist with escalated service concerns as needed.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to Plum Market policies, procedures, and quality standards across all departments.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure adequate stocking, proper merchandising, and readiness for peak hours.
  • Act as the central communication point between Store Leadership, department teams, and the Director Group.
  • Assist with special projects, compliance audits, and performance initiatives.
  • Foster a team-first environment where accountability, professionalism, and hospitality thrive.
