About The Position

We are hiring a Floor Lead for our Flagship store in New York City! As a Floor Lead at Gymshark, you’ll be an aspiring leader, driving store performance and ensuring that every customer experience reflects our brand’s values of empowerment, inclusivity, and community. You’ll lead by example, supporting your team in delivering exceptional service, product knowledge, and operational excellence. With a passion for fitness and fashion, you'll help coach and mentor your team, ensuring they are equipped to provide a seamless shopping experience.

Requirements

  • Operational Leadership – Proven ability to lead from the floor, coaching and motivating a diverse team through real-time feedback, clear direction, and a calm, solution‑focused approach.

  • Sales & Product Confidence Skilled in identifying customer needs, offering thoughtful recommendations, and guiding upsell/cross-sell opportunities in a way that adds genuine value.
  • Performance Drive Motivated by achieving operational and sales KPIs, using data and on-the-floor insights to drive team performance and deliver strong results.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Gymshark’s culture and values, acting as a passionate brand advocate and inspiring the team to do the same.
  • Drive smooth, efficient day‑to‑day operations, overseeing stock flow, replenishment, delivery processing, and overall floor readiness.
  • Provide clear, in‑the‑moment coaching and feedback to support team development and strengthen operational capability.
  • Lead from the floor to deliver strong KPI performance, using clear communication, motivation, and agile problem‑solving.
  • Maintain exceptional operational standards across VM, cleanliness, fitting room flow, and product availability to support great customer experience.
  • Collaborate with store management to execute operational initiatives, improvements, and projects that align with business goals.
  • Create a positive, energetic, and engaging environment that keeps the team motivated and ready for anything.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth across the store.
  • Frequently move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds to support operational needs.
  • Act as a keyholder, confidently opening and closing the store while following all safety, cash, and security procedures precisely.
