Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
At least 3 years of custodial and floor care experience
Valid Driver’s License (driving required)
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Office of Inspector General (OIG) Clearance
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check
General Background Check
Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
Willingness to attend trainings and stay up to date on industry practices

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining a variety of floor surfaces (tile, vinyl, hardwood, carpet, and more)
Stripping, waxing, buffing, sealing, and burnishing floors
Operating equipment like auto scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors
Shampooing carpets and tackling tough stains
Sweeping, mopping, and keeping baseboards spotless
Using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
Inspecting floors for wear, damage, or hazards
Setting up safety signage to protect staff and visitors
Maintaining equipment and following all safety protocols (OSHA, SDS, etc.)
Taking on special assignments and working independently or with a team
