Floor Care Technician
About The Position
Clean Team Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Floor Care & Cleaning Technician for commercial cleaning operations in the Grand Rapids, MI, and surrounding areas. This role involves hands-on work, delivering high-quality results, and working evening or night shifts. The technician will work alongside professional cleaning teams and assist with specialized floor care projects across multiple client locations. The company provides paid training for individuals with or without prior experience as a custodian, janitor, floor technician, or industrial cleaner.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle equipment
- Comfortable working evening/night shifts
- Flexible and dependable with strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning or floor care experience
Responsibilities
- Perform floor care services such as scrubbing, stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing
- Clean carpets using extraction equipment and spot-treat stains
- Operate floor machines and other commercial cleaning equipment safely
- Assist with general janitorial tasks as needed
- Support team members at multiple commercial facilities
- Transport, set up, and organize cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
