SUMMARY: The Flock Services Technician is responsible for keeping flocks up-to-date on sample testing and other testing for the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) requirements and state guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- State issued Driver’s License with clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Develop a schedule for flock testing, ensuring the schedule is followed and in compliance with NPIP and state guidelines.
- Perform sampling on flocks, ensuring to adhere to requirements and guidelines.
- Transfer samples to the appropriate containers.
- Deliver prepared sample to lab.
