Industrial Bank is seeking a highly qualified professional for the position of Floater Retail Banking Associate for our Retail Branch located at 54 Halsey St, Newark, NJ. The Bank has a rich benefit package that includes medical, prescription, dental, 401k, vacation and safe/sick days, paid A Day in the Life of a Floater Retail Banking Associate: The Floating Retail Banking Associate (FRBA) serves as the back-up Associate for all banking centers depending upon needs. As the FRBA, the incumbent will float from the teller line to the platform, as needed, at any given time, with or without notice. The FRBA is expected to provide branch support throughout the various banking centers on an as needed basis, as assigned. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, teller operations, product sales, general administrative tasks, and exceeding both internal and external customer service expectations. This position also requires a high level of dependability, accountability, and flexibility. Must comply with meeting compliance and audit requirements Requires expert knowledge and experience in the responsibilities of a banking Teller Requires expert knowledge and experience in the responsibilities of performing Branch Platform functions A few of the core competencies for this role include: reliable attendance and punctuality; customer service; communication; problem solving and sales skills Required education and experience High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years customer service experience Minimum of 2 years cash handling experience (Teller experience required) Employee Classification and Work Hours: Non-Exempt The Retail Banking Department operates on a Monday through Saturday work schedule. All Associates are expected to adhere to the Retail Banking schedule, providing notice of absence in accordance with the Bank’s attendance policy. All Associates must support the Retail Branch network and can be required to work at other Branch Travel: As needed amongst the various Retail Banking Centers

Requirements
