Requirements

Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with precision measuring and gauging equipment.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Ability to adapt to multiple roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Candidates without prior experience must successfully complete an on-the-job training program.
Previous related experience or successful completion of on-the-job training.
Completion of all OSHA-required safety training.
Cross-training across multiple departments, including CNC machining and shipping/receiving.

Nice To Haves

Manual and/or CNC machining experience preferred.
Knowledge of insert tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the maintenance of industrial saws and cutting tools.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to maintain required tolerances.
Maintain saw blades in accordance with customer and manufacturer specifications using hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment.
Inspect saws and tooling for defects and ensure proper functionality.
Operate and support CNC machines as needed, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
Assist in shipping and receiving functions, including material handling, packaging, and verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Float between departments—including CNC machining, maintenance, and shipping/receiving—to support operational needs.
Optimize machine and workflow utilization while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
