About The Position

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Float Pool RN (Med-Surg) to deliver exceptional patient care across multiple medical-surgical units within an acute care hospital. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to quickly adjust to different unit workflows. Available Shifts Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends) Important Notes Must live within 60 minutes of the facility. Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio . In-person interview required (shadowing, tour, and admin interview).

Requirements

• 1+ years recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required.
• Willingness to float between multiple units.
• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact eligibility.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• AHCA Level 2 background screening & fingerprinting required.
• Candidates with 3+ years of RN experience & a compact license must apply for a Florida RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across multiple med-surg units.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions.
• Adapt to varying unit workflows and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a patient and family advocate while maintaining confidentiality.
• Comply with all hospital safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
