About The Position

Flightline Operations Multiple-Site Leader Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flightline Operations Multiple-Site Leader (Level M) to support the 737 team onsite in Moses Lake, Washington. Travel to Victorville, California is required. A manager in this role will program manage and create strategy and plan for readiness and execution of 737-7 and 737-10 Change Incorporation & Refurbishment (CI&R) and modifications. This role will lead a team of approximately 700 people across all functions and between the Moses Lake, Washington and Victorville, California sites. Position Responsibilities: Provide stability and long-term vision through employee engagement, transparent communication on site plans, and site investment Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 10+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment 10+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role Willing and able to travel domestically as needed Willing and able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation (primarily 1st shift) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher Experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • Willing and able to travel domestically as needed
