About The Position

Flightline Operations Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplane's 737 Program is seeking a Flightline Operations Manager to support the Moses Lake, Washington location on a variable shift (4th Shift). Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and coaching skills that help our business unit embody and elevate our Values & Behaviors and strengthen our culture. A FOD (Foreign Object Debris)-free product and a “clean as you go” approach are integral to our production system and require steadfast adherence to our standards, care for our people, and focus on our customers. Position Responsibilities: Manage, develop, and motivate employees using best practices and regular employee feedback. Ensure air vehicles are completed and certified for airworthiness by overseeing final paint installation, modification, repair, and delivery preparation. Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and achieve operational goals for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control. Secure resources for projects and processes, provide technical oversight of suppliers, and lead continuous process improvements. Oversee and approve technical approaches, process changes, and adoption of lean principles. Promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork; influence the team to demonstrate Boeing Values and Behaviors. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role Willingness to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Possess an A&P or Repairman Certificate or minimum 18 months of practical, hands-on maintenance experience to qualify for an FAA Repairman Certificate in the type of maintenance to be performed 3+ years of flight line operations experience & functional test knowledge 3+ years of experience with any of the following: avionics, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures 3+ years of proficiency using CMES (or similar industry software) 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry Bachelor's degree or higher Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Requirements

3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience

Nice To Haves
