About The Position

Flight Test Program Integration Engineer (Mid-Level, Senior Level 4 or 5) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing company is looking for a Test and Evaluation Engineer to serve as a Flight Test Program Integration (TPI) Engineer and join our Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team in Oklahoma City , OK for the Executive Transport portfolio. The TPI is responsible for supporting the Test Program Manager (TPM) and other program leadership by leading the Ground Test/Flight Test (GT/FT) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). This position is primarily first shift, with occasional additional shift coverage and approximately 10-20% travel to Boeing sites as required, to support program objectives. BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level , Senior Level 4 , or Senior Level 5 Flight Test Program Integration Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience in developmental, certification, or operational test environments (ground test, flight test, or integrated test campaigns
  • Experience with system engineering processes
  • Experience with program management / Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Willing and able to travel 10-20% of the time, both internationally and domestically
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

  • Hands-on experience with test planning and execution, including test procedures, test cards, risk assessments, and real-time test support
  • Knowledge of aircraft certification and regulatory processes, including familiarity with FAA, military, or customer certification requirements e, g., FAA, USAF, EASA)
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Current FAA Class III medical certificate or the ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Develop, prepare, and coordinate comprehensive Program Integrated Test Plans (ITP), detailed Test & Evaluation (T&E) plans, and associated documentation including requirements traceability, verification metrics, and program requirements
  • Lead the development and standardization of test methods, procedures, and processes to ensure repeatability, productivity, and continuous improvement through lessons learned
  • Integrate BT&E capabilities and resources with other IPTs, Systems Engineering, government stakeholders, industry partners, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless test execution and alignment with program objectives
  • Conduct testability assessments of engineering requirements and oversee disciplined cost, schedule, and configuration management to meet program baselines and commitments
  • Manage the Test Program baseline, participate in change management, and ensure synchronization of organization, work statements, schedules, costs, and RIO
  • Lead proposal efforts including development of technical and cost volumes, program execution plans, and basis of estimates (BOE), and support contract negotiations
  • Serve as a Test Mission Assurance Readiness Review board member and support various program reviews such as Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Flight Readiness Review, Operational Test Readiness Review, Non-Advocate Reviews, and Program Management Review
  • Oversee test data analysis, processing, calibration, and validation; approve test data prior to customer delivery; and guide the design of test hardware, software, and systems to meet test requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish teaming plans, support agreements, and first-time quality processes that underpin successful T&E outcomes
  • Analyze and verify staffing forecasts and lead internal BT&E Program Management Reviews
  • Facilitate strategic analysis, industry assessments, capital investments, and technology review boards to optimize test execution strategies
