This position coordinates flight test activities among multiple engineering disciplines in support of a wide range of military related test programs. The individual should possess the ability to understand air vehicle system architecture, design and subsystems integration and mission systems avionics. The individual should have the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers at varying levels of experience. The selected candidate must have 3-15 years' direct hands-on flight test experience (salary will be competitive, based on experience) in following phases of test planning preparation, execution and reporting: • Maturity and professionalism to support the execution of a flight test missions, briefings and oversee team of discipline engineers in Mission Control Room. • During flights, monitor performance parameters of experimental and operational systems. • Participate in development of the overall plans such as the TEMP, Test Points, test cards, etc. • Provide integrated engineering support for design reviews, test planning working groups, test card prep, execution, and post flight reports. • Participated in and supports test program for design reviews, schedule meeting, liaison with test ranges, etc. • Performing mechanical/electrical review of aircraft systems, sub-systems, and components to ensure proper test plans and data collection in flight test. • Work well in a team environment as well as independently. • Generate post flight mission reports and other detailed formal reports. The individual should possess a track record of direct hands-on experience in all phases of planning, executing and managing flight tests and a reputation of being a team player and passion for flight test.
