About The Position

Flight Technical Data Specialist (Associate or Experienced) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) organization is seeking a highly motivated Flight Technical Data Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join the team in Seal Beach, California. Position Overview: The Flight Technical Data Specialist supports the creation and maintenance of the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) and Quick Reference Handbook (QRH).

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 2+ years of experience in a team-based environment
• 2+ years of experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
• The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Seal Beach, California location.
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
• To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
• “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of experience in support of aerospace products, including commercial or military airplane flight operations
• Currently hold a pilot license or pilot experience.
• Experience working with Flight Crew Operations (Pilots, flight crew)
• Publication Experience (Adobe frame, SQL Databases, XML, Python)

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and development of flight crew operations procedures, task listings, operations manuals, pilot's checklists and/or the software/data
• Converts engineering data for use by flight crews
• Performs the development, revision and instruction of flight crew training materials
• Performs consultation related to in-flight emergencies and accidents
• Collect information on customer publishing systems and digital data needs
• Obtains regulatory authority certification/approval of operation and engineering documents
