Boeing Global Services, Training and Simulation Digital Services (T&SDS), is seeking a results-driven Flight Simulation Hardware Kitting & Lifecycle Design Support Specialist to assist all Boeing Aircraft Type Simulator Packages, specifically focusing on the hardware kitting and Lifecyle aspects. This position is expected to be 100% on-site. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at the Long Beach, CA location. The main responsibilities of this role include coordinating with simulator manufacturers to deliver flight deck hardware based on customer configurations, working through warranty and non-compliance issues, monitoring deliverable performance, identifying hardware requirements in collaboration with internal functions, ordering aircraft simulator kit hardware to meet program schedules, developing support materials for program reviews, assisting in resolving flight simulator hardware issues by coordinating with internal functions, and ensuring all types of hardware are operational to support "Ready for Training" needs. The requirement is to address issues in the hardware lifecycle, address customer issues promptly, find new opportunities, and free up the Lead from constant daily pressing tasks so they can focus on bigger issues and initiatives. This position will take most direction from the Hardware & Kitting Lead. This position does not touch physical hardware in person nor personally repair it. The successful candidate must have strong coordination and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
