About The Position

Flight Operations Manager-T7 Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) organization is seeking 2 T-7 Flight Line Operation Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Edwards AFB, CA. Position Responsibilities: • Manages employees performing activities in a Flight Operations environment. • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. • Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture • Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 3+ years of experience working with or supporting military/commercial aircraft.
• 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN and 5S activities
• Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations
• Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
