About The Position

Flight Operations Manager-T7 Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) organization is seeking 2 T-7 Flight Line Operation Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Edwards AFB, CA. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in a Flight Operations environment. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 3+ years of experience working with or supporting military/commercial aircraft.
• 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN and 5S activities
• Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations
• Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
