About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Flight Line Team Lead to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 3rd shift. Position Responsibilities: Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives Plans, schedules and arranging own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC) Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Requirements

  • 3+ years of aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication experience
  • 1+ year of formal or informal leadership experience
  • 1+ year of 787 program experience
  • 1+ year of avionics and/or electrical experience
  • 1+ year of experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations
  • 1+ year of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk
  • 1+ year of experience with Field/Flight Line Operations
  • Ability to work 3rd shift

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license
  • Familiarity with Boeing Production System
