We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Flight Coordinator in Los Angeles About DO & CO We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every elevated floor and in the sky. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferably in customer service is beneficial
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Hands-on approach
  • Ability to work 50% of the day inside a cooler/refrigerated area
  • Ability to work well in a fast pace environment and with a diversified clientele
  • Capacity to work well within a team as well as exhibit leadership skills
  • All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional communication across multiple channels and distribute operational information to relevant departments
  • Ensure production processes, quality standards, accuracy, and deadlines are met for timely delivery of products to aircraft crew
  • Perform in-person handover of DO & CO’s high-end products without delays
  • Ensure products and trolleys meet the highest quality standards and customer instructions
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and pack additional equipment or products as needed
  • Verify special meals and correct meal counts are prepared, packed, and assigned accurately for each flight
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and customer care
  • Work hands-on with a team of Food Packers and assist on the assembly line as needed
  • Set up trays and prepare/package food in cooler or refrigerated environments
  • Assist with inventory counts when required
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed at all times
  • Report food safety or hygiene concerns to management and the food safety team
  • Drive long distances as required to San Diego and LAX airports
