We do not require special schooling or a college degree for this job and you will be fully trained by United.

  • 21 years of age or older at time of application.
  • High school graduate or GED; 2 or more years of college preferred.
  • At least one year of customer service experience in the service industry.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
  • Proficiency in a second language highly desirable.
  • Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in high-stress situations.
  • Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
  • Ability to proficiently operate electronic devices.
  • Must possess a valid passport with 18 months validity remaining.
  • Ability to travel to and from all countries United serves without restrictions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects, and push/pull beverage carts.
  • Ability to pass a functional reach assessment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Fluency in a second language such as Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, or Tagalog.
