About The Position

Set up, troubleshoot, and maintaining flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging.
First and second shift Hours: 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm. Monday – Friday
Good work history required.

Requirements

• Experience preferred in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery or similar processes.
• Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.
• Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic Math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
• Must complete ongoing training as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
• Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
• Inspect product to ensure materials, size, print, quantities.
• Keep the work area clean.
