About The Position

Legacy Building Solutions LLC is a leading design and manufacturer of steel frame buildings and is in need of machine operators to join our growing team. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30PM with occasional overtime on Fridays as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Read work orders and plan sequence of work. Select cutting tips or other attachments. Install and align them. Mains accurate material inventory data and records accordingly throughout the day. Selects proper materials per cut programs or instructions. Handle and load metal onto machine Secure work pieces and position guides, stops, or other fixtures. Set controls for speed, feed rate, depth and angle, or pressure and temperature. Clear jams and adjust settings. Alert supervisor of problems. Measure finished work pieces to determine if they are the right size and inspect for defects. Use meters, gauges, and other precision instruments. Handle and move materials and parts. Repair and maintain mechanical equipment on a routine basis. Determine when and what kind of maintenance or repairs are needed. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED 1 year CNC Equipment Experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year CNC Equipment Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
