About The Position

Smyth is hiring a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join their growing team at their facility centrally located in the Twin Cities. This is an opportunity for individuals with printing experience and strong mechanical aptitude to work a compressed 3-day schedule while producing high-quality labels and packaging. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 2+ years of printing or press operation experience

Nice To Haves

• Flexographic printing experience
• Experience with: Cold foil
• Experience with: Hot stamp dies
• Experience with: Rotary screens
• Experience with: Tactile varnishes
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or BRC quality systems

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Nilpeter flexographic press
• Produce high-quality labels while meeting production and quality standards
• Monitor and reduce material waste
• Ensure press is fully stocked and running efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
