Requirements

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent
  • Requires a minimum of two years previous work experience in operating machinery and/or production equipment, including operating a forklift and pallet jack
  • Possess mechanical troubleshooting skills and capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Provides a variety of operational support which will include staging components for the next scheduled production run and moving material throughout the facility
  • Assists the Flexo Press Operator in setting up production runs
  • Assists the Flexo Press Operator in the production of high-quality products, including make ready, setting up the feeder, maintaining a running machine and performing general maintenance that supports operational excellence
  • Partners with the Flexo Press Operator to meet customer requirements, quality standards, departmental run speeds and productivity efficiencies while maintaining safety and good housekeeping standards
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift or carry up to as much as 75 pounds occasionally
  • Offloads finished products on to skids
  • Wraps and secure skids for over the road transit
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
