Flex Sample Assistant - Photo Studio - Seattle
About The Position
The FLEX Sample Assistant will support the photo studio operations for Nordstrom and the online store. The Samples Assistant will be responsible for the prepping and organization of merchandise for the daily shoots, based on volume needs. Flexibility in hours during peak periods will be required. A day in the life… Detailed and professional preparation of samples for product and on figure photography. Preparation primarily involves steaming and ironing samples. Maintain an organized system of sorting samples by size or specialty type for studio. Accurately enter data into studio tracking tools Provide support for entering product descriptions, including measurements, content, and care details. Team with Assistant Stylists, Stylists, Sample Coordinators, and Producers to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain and organize the styling area and supplies. Ensure adherence of company and studio policies.
Requirements
- Exceptional steaming and ironing skills
- Complete knowledge of fabrics, care, and proper handling
- Skilled in building and maintaining positive working relationships
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Flexible, and able to respond immediately to business changes and priorities.
- Demonstrated understanding of high-end retail and the service environment of Nordstrom
- Proficiency with knowledge of Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
Nice To Haves
- High volume, e-commerce assisting experience a plus
