About The Position

You possess the rare ability to see what’s coming next and seamlessly weave those future aesthetics into the UO DNA. You’re a creative problem-solver who thrives in the high-energy buzz of a photo studio and possesses an uncompromising eye for the "effortless" detail. The Stylist role is responsible for creating outfits for the e-commerce channel. They should have a background that balances an understanding of current and future trends, with the ability to seamlessly infuse these trends into the brand product. They should be comfortable executing e-commerce outfitting with acute attention to detail, theability to collaborate and problem solve in a fast-paced on-set environment, and bring a unique perspective to UO’s sets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of on-set styling experience with a strong portfolio
  • Strong understanding of studio environment and the collaboration of roles within
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to recognize current trends and forecast emerging/upcoming trends
  • Anticipate and resolve creative challenges by using appropriate resources and/or solutions
  • Strong understanding of the URBN and Urban Outfitters culture, brand, and customer
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team morale
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute inspiring, on-brand, and on-trend looks for the women’s e-commerce channel weekly
  • Create strong and compelling looks for any elevated e-comm capsule messages
  • Prepare to review looks with Styling Director ahead of shooting and review prior weeks of imagery as ateam
  • Collaborate with and contribute to the studio team including rotating approved models and HMU talent,in-house photographers and digital techs, art direction, and the operations team
  • Manage time on set to ensure the daily shot count goals are met while still maintaining high stylingstandards
  • Contribute to the organization of the studio space and sample process
  • Continuously research, share, and apply trend inspiration, detailing techniques, and emerging ideas toelevate brand imagery
  • The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Concept, to gain a holistic understanding ofapplicable trends and important product for UO’s customer
  • Review current brand sales information takeaways and apply to relevant e-comm sets
