Work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and a maximum of 30 hours per week in 2/4/6/8 hour increments of your choice Starting Pay Rate: $15.95/hour Part-Time Benefit Program No need to ask for days off - you build your own schedule within the guidelines noted above. What you will do: You will work in various assembly functional areas to safely build excavators. As a Part Time FLEX Production Technician, you will:

Requirements

Work or volunteer experience
Complete the Caterpillar Online Assessment successfully
Provide a complete application

Nice To Haves

Basic computers skills
Experience working in a team-based environment
Experience working in manufacturing or with basic hand tools

Responsibilities

Perform routine production tasks in assembly, fabrication, paint, or other areas while upholding Caterpillar’s core values.
Follow documented procedures to safely and accurately assemble components using basic tools and equipment.
Operate machinery, blasting and painting applications, and perform basic tack and straight-line welds.
Support continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles and adhering to safety, quality, and standard work protocols.
