As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the property. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to building occupants and visitors. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
