Part-Time Flex Delivery Driver - Pet Supplies (All Locations)
About The Position
Team Tomlinson’s, a winner of the Austin Chronicle’s “Best of Austin” for ten years, is a local leader in healthy, natural pet nutrition. The company is passionate about helping customers find the right nutrition for their pets, thanks to its dedicated and talented Team Members. Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates are W2 employees, not contract workers, and earn a starting hourly rate of $15 per hour. Additionally, they receive mileage reimbursement of 72.5 cents per mile driven, which brings the average earnings for a Delivery Associate to between $20 - $25/hour. Drivers working 40 hours or more per week are eligible for health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and an employer-matched 401(k).
Requirements
- A positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A clean driving record.
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- Up to date car registration.
- A smartphone with the ability to use our delivery app to navigate.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to pick and deliver orders.

Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely manner.
- Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from clients.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and customer communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.).
- Complete training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures.
- Assist in-store between delivery runs.
