These services include flagging traffic, setting up and monitoring lane closures, and detouring traffic to reduce congestion and prevent accidents. The company is focused on maintaining a safe work environment for construction crews, employees, and the public. The Fleet Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing company vehicles and traffic control equipment to support safe and efficient operations. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Fleet Manager in Fremont, CA, and requires occasional travel throughout the Northern California service territory. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Experience in general fleet preventative maintenance and familiarity with standard shop tools and diagnostic equipment is preferred. This role is essential in ensuring fleet assets remain operational, compliant, and ready to support field operations.
