About The Position

As a Fleet Service Specialist , you are responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of our company fleet. This dual-purpose role provides essential support to our mechanical team. Your daily impact includes: Vehicle Detailing and Preparation: Performing thorough interior and exterior cleaning-including body and chassis-for cars, vans, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers. Preventative Maintenance: Executing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and vacuuming to ensure fleet safety. Shop Support: Assisting Fleet Mechanics with equipment maintenance and preparing company assets for employee check-out. Facility Stewardship: Maintaining a safe work area by organizing parts, sweeping floors, and performing general custodial functions. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all shop safety protocols and collaborating with the team to ensure all facility needs are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is required; 1+ years of related automotive or fleet experience is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull 50-75+ lbs and manipulate large vehicle components.
  • Requires continuous standing, walking, bending, and crawling in and around commercial vehicles for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Work is performed in a repair shop or outdoor garage with exposure to weather, grease, and loud noises.
  • PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses) is mandatory.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
