About The Position

Aldridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Fleet Parts Associate to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible delivering, stocking, tracking, and transporting parts from vendors to work sites both in-house and externally. This role is highly organized, hands-on, and critical to supporting mechanics and keeping a safe work environment. Requirements

  • Must have prior heavy truck or automotive parts experience
  • Current driver’s license (non-CDL) and clean driving history
  • Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Experience with parts warehouse work flow and processing
  • General knowledge of desktop computer applications and electronic purchase order systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projects
  • Physical job requirements include being able to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • General knowledge of construction equipment; preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage receipt, receiving, and storage of parts orders from third party and internal vendors
  • Leverage systems and technology to track, report, close, and communicate issues related to vendor orders
  • Be available for delivery or pick up of materials from vendors as needed to fleet or field personnel
  • Oversee purchase orders and net term requirements; communicate and partner with accounts payable to ensure vendor payments are made in a timely manner
  • Interact proactively and regularly with personnel from the fleet, yard, accounting, and third-party vendors
