Fleet Operations Coordinator
About The Position
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Fleet Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day management of a large vehicle fleet for a major client. This role blends hands-on fleet oversight, operational coordination, and client engagement. You will help manage the health, efficiency, and productivity of the fleet while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring an exceptional support experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with vehicle rental, fleet management, or operations experience who enjoys working in the field, interacting with customers, and solving problems in real time.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience managing rental or fleet vehicles
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and fleet operations
- 2–5 years of customer service or client/account support experience (B2B preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to drive and remain on your feet for up to 8 hours

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed pre- and post‑service inspections on fleet vehicles
- Manage and track variable fleet units across multiple locations
- Coordinate vehicle cleaning, detailing, refueling, and general readiness
- Schedule and oversee mechanical and body repairs with approved third‑party vendors
- Ensure all activities—whether internal or vendor‑managed—are properly documented
- Serve as a primary on‑site contact for client, vendors, and fleet personnel
- Build and maintain strong relationships to support operational success
- Provide ongoing account support and recommend cost‑saving or efficiency‑improving solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously enhance fleet operations
