About The Position

Leaders Furniture is hiring a Fleet Mechanic! Leaders Furniture is one of the largest casual furniture retailers in North America with 20 retail showrooms throughout Florida. We need you to keep our delivery fleet in good repair to ensure efficient and timely delivery to our customers. We need a Fleet Mechanic that is well versed and proficient with Isuzu Diagnostic Service System (IDSS) or advanced understanding of other diagnostic software. This position will be responsible for preventative maintenance services, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of diesel vehicles and equipment. Mechanic Job Description: Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services Perform inspection of steering, suspension and brake systems Install batteries and check electrical systems Change and rotate tires Perform other various maintenance on company vehicles Road test vehicles What you can expect: Competitive pay appropriate for experience and skill level. ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve Must have Valid Driver’s license & clean driving record Able to lift 20lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and over 50lbs in a team lift. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Possess a strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
Must have Valid Driver’s license & clean driving record
Able to lift 20lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and over 50lbs in a team lift.
Reliable and on time
