About The Position

Sir Lines-A-Lot provides pavement markings on roads and parking lots throughout Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. The Fleet Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, staffing, and directing all activities of the Fleet Department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and effective asset management across the company's fleet.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of fleet management experience required
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) preferred
  • CDL Class A preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation and management of the B2W Maintain system
  • Manage fleet inventory and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborating with Lead Mechanics to determine equipment needs
  • Ensure fleet operations meet company standards, including: Routine vehicle maintenance DVIR reporting and repair documentation Vehicle licensing and registration Performance monitoring and recordkeeping Maintenance of inspection and compliance records
  • Manage Motive Fleet Telematics System, including fuel cards, monitoring, and equipment installation
  • Provide leadership with reports on budgeting, performance, maintenance, and fleet progress
  • Partner with Environmental Health & Safety to ensure compliance and employee safety
  • Procure vehicles through leasing, purchasing, or other methods
  • Manage asset sales, including bills of sale and vehicle title inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and reporting requirements
  • Complete IFTA reporting and MN Revenue PTO credit reporting
  • Develop and maintain vendor and service provider relationships
  • Perform other duties as assigned
