About The Position

Bob Boyte Honda - Moss Point is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our vehicle fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the scheduling, maintenance, and logistics of our fleet to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions that support our business objectives.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and fleet management software.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop cost-effective strategies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet management.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the company vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles are serviced and inspected regularly.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and acquisitions.
Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Monitor fuel consumption and vehicle usage to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, service schedules, and related expenses.
Oversee vehicle registration, insurance, licensing, and compliance with legal requirements.
Train and supervise fleet staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to align fleet operations with overall business needs.
