About The Position

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is a key position in our Southern Nevada and Arizona operation. You’ll lead the activities of the fleet maintenance department to ensure that fleet and heavy equipment is available, dependable and safe at all times and you’ll oversee the fleet preventive maintenance (PM) program. Reporting to our Fleet Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a team of Fleet Maintenance Mechanics at several locations. You’ll work with commercial drivers, forklift drivers, dispatch, and plant leadership to ensure on schedule, safe delivery of Jensen products. A highlight of your day-to-day will include: Directing activities related to the fleet maintenance department. Planning and preparing work schedules. Ensuring all safety procedures are followed and projects assigned are completed according to expectations and within the timeframe required to complete the task. Maintaining files on all forklifts, trucks and trailers for maintenance including repairs and costs. Ensuring all trucks and trailers are DOT compliant. Planning for and scheduling ongoing preventive maintenance (PM) programs in compliance with company guidelines and government regulations. Providing guidance and technical advice to fleet maintenance employees and training them on how to properly maintain the fleet.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Demonstrated fleet maintenance experience (DOT requirements, diesel engines, brake system, cranes, hydraulics, tractor and trailer maintenance) preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Lifelong learner with a combination of formal education (Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification and CDL) and at least four (4) years of solid on-the-job experience including prior supervisory experience.
