Requirements
- Proven leadership in similar role, preferably in truck and trailer repair industry
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel equipment, trailers, and refrigeration systems
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain a toolbox and required tools
- Experience with safety compliance and repair industry best practices
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication
- Oversee technician training and performance reviews
- Manage shop scheduling, workloads, and project coordination
- Maintain safety programs and conduct inspections
- Support hands-on shop work during peak times
- Track department performance and drive efficiency improvements
- Build strong relationships with vendors and customers
- Promote a positive, high-performance team culture
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
