About The Position

As a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator this role primary focuses on coordinating fleet maintenance and repairs. In this role, you will set preventative maintenance schedules and track the completion of these maintenance tasks by external vendors. On-boarding new customers into the systems and having a working knowledge of fleet maintenance and telematics is a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year in automotive industry
  • Basic Excel experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and fast decision-making skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including identifying when major repairs are required
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Telematic and CRM systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs
  • Work with external vendors, including service writers and mechanics
  • Maintain communication with customers on a daily basis
  • Create and monitor operating cost summary reports for customers
  • Assist with process improvements of department functions
  • Maintain current vehicle information in databases
