Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, engineered wall systems, retaining walls, ornamental and garden products, and a full range of sack goods. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, this position is responsible for dispatching approximately 20 company trucks/drivers. They are also required to help customers and co-workers according to their needs. It is their responsibility to ensure that policies and standards are followed in their area of competence. Accuracy of deliveries and associated documents is ensured thru system audit functions. Attention to detail and multi-tasking is required. Must be a team player and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RECEIVED & DISCRETION EXERCISED: In this position, the supervisor provides continuing or individual assignments by indicating generally what is to be done, limitations, quality and quantity expected, deadlines and priorities. Additional, specific instructions are given for new, difficult, or unusual assignments. The employee uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments. The supervisor assures that the work is technically accurate and in compliance with instructions or established procedures.
