About The Position

Blackridge Fleet Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Maintenance & Service Repair Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing commercial fleet vehicles and specialty equipment while demonstrating our core values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. Requirements

  • 3+ years of fleet, medium/heavy-duty truck, or commercial equipment repair experience preferred
  • Self-managed, self-starter and problem solver
  • Experience with cab & fleet repair, service bodies, and vocational truck systems
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, hoists, and PTO systems
  • Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, wiring, and auxiliary equipment installation
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, repair manuals, and service bulletins
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and power tools
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including cab & chassis trucks and specialty upfit equipment
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, hoists, and related components
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including lighting, control modules, PTO wiring, and auxiliary systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance services on commercial fleet vehicles
  • Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately
  • Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with service advisors and supervisors
  • Ensure all repairs meet company, state, federal, and manufacturer safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with installation and service of truck-mounted equipment as needed
  • Support team members and help train less experienced technicians when appropriate
