Fleet Automotive Technician (F-150–F-550 / Ram 1500–5500)
About The Position
Flatland Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Light-Duty Fleet Mechanic experienced in maintaining Ford and Ram pickup trucks. This position focuses on light- to medium-duty fleet vehicles, not heavy equipment. We are specifically looking for mechanics with experience working on Ford Super Duty (F-150–F-550) and Ram 1500–5500 pickup platforms. If your background includes automotive repair, pickup truck maintenance, or dealership-level service, this position is an excellent fit. We are looking for a candidate that can help with small trailer and small equipment repairs on occasion as well.
Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanic experience (diesel and gasoline).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Must provide your own tools.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Ability to work independently, including in outdoor conditions and extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet trucks, trailers, and some smaller equipment.
- Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, wiring, hydraulics, electrical, and AC systems.
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
- Handle both routine services and detailed mechanical work.
- Complete accurate electronic work orders for each job.
- Occasionally travel for roadside or off-site repairs.
