Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for a project located in and around Mountain View, AR. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $30-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Fabrication and Assembly of Detention-Grade Steel Components; Modular Jail Cells, Door Frames, and Structural Assemblies MIG Welding Fit, Align, and Tack Heavy Gauge Steel Components Weld Structural Steel Joints and Seams with Proper Penetration and Finish Conduct Visual Inspection of Weld Quality and Verify Fit-up Accuracy Grind, Clean, and Prep Welded Components for Coating or Finishing as Required Maintain Safe Work Practices and Housekeeping

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 Years of Experience
• Able to Read and Interpret Fabrication Drawings
• Basic Hand Tools for the Trade
• Standard PPE

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Assembly of Detention-Grade Steel Components
• Modular Jail Cells, Door Frames, and Structural Assemblies
• MIG Welding Fit, Align, and Tack Heavy Gauge Steel Components
• Weld Structural Steel Joints and Seams with Proper Penetration and Finish
• Conduct Visual Inspection of Weld Quality and Verify Fit-up Accuracy
• Grind, Clean, and Prep Welded Components for Coating or Finishing as Required
• Maintain Safe Work Practices and Housekeeping
