About The Position

Flat Laser Operator | Monday - Thursday 2PM - 12AM Benefits: PTO offered immediately Paid holidays Monthly Bonus Opportunities Premium FREE Employee Healthcare and Life Insurance 401k with Company Match Education Assistance Paid 30-minute lunch break Paid shift differential Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities: Perform machine setup and calibrate equipment to meet customer specifications. Load and unload material into and out of machines, including adjusting material as needed. Perform in-process inspection of materials and maintain high quality output standards. Package finished goods for customer delivery or floor stock, including palletizing and banding when requested. Maintain a clean work site and follow proper housekeeping practices. Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Report all accidents, incidents and unsafe acts or conditions immediately. Required Skills & Abilities: Able to read and comprehend work orders, instructions, and safety and procedural manuals. Ability to understand written and verbal communication in the English language. Ability to use and interpret tape measurer and other measuring instruments as required. Ability to drive a forklift and operate an overhead crane (company will train and certify). Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Infrequent lifting of weight up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level. Carrying up to 50 pounds at waist level for a distance no greater than 5 feet on a semi-frequent basis. Ability to perform a rotating shoulder motion to toss items weighing up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis. Must be able to bend, squat, and/or crouch down using knee and hip movement frequently. Frequent torso movements involving twisting, bending, and/or stretching. Frequent reaching and stretching of arms below and above shoulder level. Frequent head and neck motion as in looking up, down, and from side to side Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day. Using full body motion to climb in and out of forklifts. Ability to push and pull weight of up to 30 pounds at chest level. Utilize manual dexterity of arms, elbows, wrists, and fingers. Ability to visually interpret multiple shades of colors as well as hear, speak, and interpret sounds. The work environment contains moving mechanical parts and is consistent with standard manufacturing and/or warehousing environments. Work may be performed near moderate to continuous loud noise.
