  • Proficiency in QlikView/Qlik Sense scripting (load scripts, set analysis, aggr functions, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of fixed operations within an automotive dealership or similar environment.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and connecting to multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, ODBC, REST APIs).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Qlik Sense or QlikView certification (Business Analyst, Data Architect, or System Administrator).
  • Experience with automotive DMS systems (CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack).
  • Familiarity with Qlik NPrinting for automated report distribution.
  • Background in service operations, parts management, or dealer group analytics.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Qlik Sense and QlikView applications from the ground up, including data modeling, scripting, and front-end visualization.
  • Manage the full Qlik environment: server administration, user access controls, security rules, licensing, and performance optimization.
  • Serve as the internal Qlik subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to stakeholders and business users.
  • Analyze fixed operations KPIs including effective labor rate (ELR), parts gross profit, technician productivity, and customer pay vs. warranty performance.
  • Develop standardized reporting packages and ad hoc analytical outputs for department heads and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with fixed ops managers to identify data gaps and implement process improvements backed by data insights.
  • Monitor data pipeline integrity and troubleshoot ETL issues, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all reports.
  • Maintain data governance documentation, including data dictionaries, source mapping, and refresh schedules.
  • Partner with IT to ensure seamless integration between Qlik and source systems such as DMS platforms (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack).
  • Track and report on departmental trends, flagging anomalies and providing actionable recommendations.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays.
  • Ongoing professional development and Qlik certification support.
  • A collaborative, data-forward culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.
